Dear FDMers,

The welfare of our employees is of the utmost importance to FDM. We are monitoring the coronavirus developments closely and providing around the clock support for employees who are working in higher risk locations.

The following brief is designed to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you.

For All Employees
•    If you have any concerns about your health, how you are able to conduct your daily work activities or if you simply want someone to talk to about the virus then please get in touch with your local People team. They will be able to provide updates and advice on a case by case basis regarding any changes to working patterns.
•    As a safety precaution, travel restrictions have been put in place. We will continue to update you on FDM’s travel policy but if you have any questions, please again contact your local People team.
•    Overseas business travel to and from Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Italy is banned with immediate effect
•    Business travel between other countries requires Director approval prior to booking
•    All business travel must be kept to a minimum until further notice
•    If you have visited any country on the banned list, self-quarantine may be required and you will be advised accordingly by the People Team
•    If you have returned from holiday or other personal travel within the last 14 days, you must notify your local People Team advising from where you have travelled and your date of return
•    For those of you undertaking personal travel please ensure you check that your insurance policy provides suitable cover. Some insurers will consider the prevailing government and associated agency rules and recommendations, giving fluctuations in cover based on this information
•    If you are feeling unwell and have a high temperature, refrain from work and promptly seek medical advice.
•    Keep informed of local government and World Health Organization (WHO) advice. Guidance may change regularly, depending on how the situation is developing.
For Consultants
•    Please pay attention to communications from the business continuity teams on-site. We have spoken with many of our clients and understand that they are communicating with their staff and consultants regarding the current situation. These circumstances are developing daily and so it is important that you read and absorb all updates.
•    Make sure that you understand your responsibilities in relation to your Clients Business Continuity Plan (BCP). These plans will be key to the client’s continued business and must be adhered to.

We will be sending out regular updates as this situation changes. Please stay safe everyone.

Best wishes,
