UK Ex-Forces consultant, Neil Russell (pictured above), has recently taken part in the North Coast 500 Cycle Challenge, a charity cycle ride of 500 miles over six days. He was able to raise over £1350 for the Nora Docherty Foundation, which supports the education of children in Malawi.
“It was a brilliant challenge, albeit we had some interesting weather including a yellow rain warning day when we got very wet indeed! Equally we had a day when the midges came out in their droves and were particularly attracted to our ride tops! Other than that, we had a great week of riding through some stunning scenery! Over the entire ride we cycled just over 500 miles and went up hills totalling well over 33000 ft, or Mount Everest plus Ben Nevis combined.”

German consultant, Michael Biller (pictured above), also participated in a cycling challenge to support the non-profit organisations, SOS Kinderdörfer and WWF. Over five days he cycled 500 km from Hamburg to the North around the northern German foothills: Lübeck - Kiel - Eckernförde - Flensburg. He then continued his ride along the West Coast towards the South and along the Elbe back to Hamburg.
